     To adopt rapid (automated) cultural techniques and molecular technologies.
     ii. Get the NABL Accreditation done for other sections of Microbiology laboratory.

1. Research collaboration with Central Research Laboratory of Dr. D.Y.Patil Medical College, Pimpri, Pune.

• 1. NABL accredited VRDL for H1N1. The Department is doing the RTPCR for Covid-19 actively, in the Covid-19 pandemic.
  2. Company tie up for RAT & RTPCR during IInd wave of Covid19.
  3. Bacteriology– Automated Blood and fluid culture by BD BACTEC, FX 40
     • Culture & Sensitivity testing of various Clinical Specimen
     • Microscopical diagnosis
  4. Mycology– Microscopy & Culture for diagnosis
  5. Parasitology– Routine Microscopical diagnosis
  6. Mycobacteriology – Microscopical diagnosis
  7. Serological & Immunological diagnosis, Virology diagnostic methods
