  1. The Dept. has NABL accredited VRDL for H1N1 and COVID-19.
  2. The Department is doing the RTPCR for Covid 19 actively in the Covid 19 pandemic.
  3. Microbiology UG distinctions consistently – 47 UG distinctions in last 5 yrs.
  4. Total 28 Publications in National & International Journals by faculty.
  5. Dr. Sandhya Kulkarni has received Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Sadbhavana Award for Outstanding Achievements and Remarkable role in the field of Education by International Institute of Education & Management on 24th May 2018 at New Delhi.
  6. Dr. Sadhana Chate has received Rashtriya Gaurav Award for Meritorious Services, Outstanding Performance and Remarkable Role by India International friendship society at New Delhi on 7th May 2017 at a Seminar on Economic growth and National Integration by the hands of Dr. Bhishma Narayan Singh, Former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam.
