1. To be a “common umbrella” under which all research related activities of the institute are undertaken.
2. To identify new areas of research and nurture innovative ideas to align with the emerging medical needs of the community.
3. To impart knowledge of research methodology to the students and faculty.
4. To facilitate disbursal of funds for the institutional research projects.
5. To provide guidance for effective manuscript writing for publication of the research work.
6. To promote, develop and improve scientific exchange of knowledge as well as technical co-operation between various research institutions and bodies.
