Pharmacology

Pharmacology is a subject which deals with the study of drugs/medicines, is learnt in the II MBBS phase over a year. Also, this department has been conducting a PG course, viz. MD (Pharmacology) of 3 years. In this department, a II MBBS Student learns about the various theoretical aspects of drugs, such as their classification, mechanisms of action, clinical uses and adverse effects as well as about their applications in the clinical practice and research projects.
