Dr. Deepa Sanjeev Nair is an MBBS graduate from T.D Govt. Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala and went on to do her MD (Physiology) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. She further pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital & Health care management from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care Pune. She is a recipient of the prestigious R Srinivasan Prize in APPICON 2006 and has authored many research publications in various international and national journals. She has been a part of Department of Physiology, MIMER Medical College since Aug 2007 and Head of the Department since Dec. 2017. Presently she is the MEU Coordinator of the College and also has been undergoing training in Advanced Course in Medical Education from NMC Nodal Centre for Medical Education technologies, Seth G S Medical College& KEM Hospital,Mumbai. She has also been trained in Basic and Advanced Research Methodology (MUHS, Nashik). She is a passionate teacher and her area of interest is innovative teaching learning methods for clinical application of Physiology.
