Prof. Vaishali Korde-Nayak
Professor & Head in the Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Prof. Vaishali Korde-Nayak is working as a Professor & Head in the Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She has completed her Post-graduation from Government Medical College, Aurangabad in the year 2000, & DNB from MIMER. In 2006, she pursued Fellowship in Maternal & Fetal Medicine, at National University Hospital, Singapore. She also has a Fellowship of Indian College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to her credit. She is a university-recognized UG & PG teacher with more than 20 yrs. of teaching experience. She is also appointed as an International Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons, London since 2010. She is an active member of the Pune OBGY Society (POGS) for the past 15 yrs. & presently successfully shouldering the responsibility of General Secretary POGS. She has successfully conducted many conferences as Organising Secretary & chairperson. She has been an invited faculty for many national & International conferences including Armed Forces Medical Services. She is a Master Trainer for VAW & “Dheera”- the National Projects for Violence against women by the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists. She is also a 3T trainer for Bioethics (UNESCO) & has been a faculty for many Bioethics workshops. She has several national & international publications in her name and she also has presented several papers at the conferences. She has around 50 subject lectures uploaded on YouTube, liked by students. She is a student-friendly teacher with excellent knowledge of the subject and passionate teaching skills.
