Dr. Vijaykumar Powar is working as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pathology. He has completed his graduation in 1980 and post graduation in 1995 from GMC Miraj. He is working in dept. of Pathology, MIMER medical college since 2014. He has vast experience of working in blood bank and at present he is managing the Garware Blood Centre of MIMER Medical College. Special award for extraordinary work in National AIDS control program in 2006 when working as District co-ordination officer, district Sindhudurg & award of Ideal Medical officer award by Human service foundation, Pune. His area of interest is transfusion medicine.
