Dr. Govind Chate joined MIMER in September 2019 as a Research Associate to work on the DST funded project “Self-propelled water driven nanomachine for rapid capture and isolation of circulating tumor cells” headed by Dr. Shashwat Banerjee. He was later integrated into handling the matters related to Intellectual Property Rights that resulted from the research carried out in Central Research Laboratory.
Being a Registered Patent Agent and an IP facilitator for Government of India, Govind advises the team of researchers working in CRL regarding protecting their IPR rights in the form of Patent, copyrights and non-disclosure agreements.
