Dr. Safalya S. Kadtane is working as a HOD & Asst. Professor in the Department of Public Health Dentistry. He has completed his post-graduation from Teerthanker Mahaveer Dental College & Research Centre, Moradabad. He also holds the degree of MPH from the University of Nicaragua in collaboration with Texila American University. He has participated in national and international conferences; presented posters and papers in the same. He is the Editor-in-Chief of “International Journal of Advanced Health Sciences” and Editorial Board Member of “International Journal of Scientific Study.” He received the certificate of appreciation for The World’s Largest Free Dental Health Checkup Camp which made an entry into the “Guinness Book of World Records” on 13th November 2014. He was Elsevier Student Ambassadors (ESA) for the year 2014-2015. He has total eighteen publications on his name out of which five publications are as a first author. His active area of research includes Tobacco & its ill effects on oral health, Traumatic injuries of children and the overall oral health of the community
