  1. Basic Life Support Activity -2024 – A properly performed CPR can save someone’s life. Basic Life Support is one of the most important skills a medical student should know. The department of Physiology conducted a hands-on training on ‘Basic Life Support’ for 1st MBBS students.
  2. The department of physiology has organized Haemophilia Day Activity on 22nd April 2024
    The purpose of activity was to create awareness among the medical students about haemophilia and sensitize them about blood donation.
  3. Dr D Y Patil Medical College organised an intercollegiate model making competition in Physiology on 26 July 2023 . Our college team comprising of 5, 1st MBBS students won the consolation prize. They received certificates. Total 13 teams were there
  4. International Yoga Day-2023 – For 1st MBBS Students organised by the department. Competitions For students –A) Suryanamaskara , B) Poster on Yoga.
  5. HEMOPHILIA DAY ACTIVITY- April 17th 2023 is observed as World Haemophilia Day in the department. Students were given a platform to express their ideas and creativity in the form of skit and posters. ‘Hemoquiz’ was conducted to encourage and enhance the knowledge on various bleeding disorders, their prevention and treatment.
  6. Cultural Day (1st MBBS Batch 2021-2022)- Organised on 11 May 2022
  7. Organised the 4th annual research society conference “Women – The centre of Health” along with the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on 24th November 2015.
  8. CME – Respiration -A Comprehensive Approach.

    Department of Anatomy & Physiology organized one day CME on ‘Respiration –A Comprehensive Approach’ on 22nd June 2018. Eminent doctors from different specialties of medicine delivered lectures on various aspects related to respiration. About 115 delegates attended the CME. CME was accredited by MMC and 2 credit points were awarded to the delegates.

  9. Guest Lecture

    Dept. of Physiology organised a guest lecture on ‘Applied Physiology for Abdominal Girth Reduction- Confusion to Conclusion on 29 November 2019. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Shirish Patwardhan.
