Achievement

    • With the guidance from our experienced faculty, our students regularly excel in the I MBBS University exam with many distinctions in Physiology.

Our faculty have been providing research guidance to the students to carry out research projects and encourage them to present their work in conferences which will help them understand research at an early stage of their career.

Under the ICMR STS-2020, Research project titled “A Cross Sectional Study Of Spirometeric Evaluation Of Lung Functions And Respiratory Symptoms In Rice Mill Workers.” was carried out by

  • Miss. Manasi Joshi under the Guidance of our faculty Dr. Rupali Baburdikar.
  • Miss. Manasi Joshi also presented her research work in 3rd National Biomedical Research Competition-2021(NRBCOM) held from 6th -10th December 2021 organised by Society for Young Biomedical Scientist, India.

Dr. Rupali Baburdikar presented oral paper in 7th Annual National Conference of Association of Physiologists of India (ASSOPICON 2021) held from 7th -9th September 2021 titled “A Comparative Study of Spirometry Parameters in Smokers, Non-Smokers and Ex-Smokers in Software Engineers of a Company in Western Part of Maharashtra”.

Dr. Deepa Nair, presently the Medical Education Unit (MEU) Coordinator of the college, is resource faculty for various Medical Education Technology workshops.
Our students Miss Aarathy and Miss. Tejal Gupchup won the 1st Prize in intercollegiate Physiology Quiz organised by IMA Pune in 2014 where students from most of the Govt. and Private medical colleges of Pune participated.
