Service Provided
- Dept. provides palliative care and pain management services.
- Dept. provides valuable services from monitored anaesthesia care to ananesthesia for major surgeries, including replacement cases, urologic cases, orthopedic, ENT, plastic surgeries, general surgeries, ophthalmic surgeries, peadiatric surgeries and OBGY surgeries.
- Dept. also provides ananesthesia outside operating room for ECT, radiological procedures.
- Dept. answers to the calls for patient resuscitation from various wards.
- Dept. is having USG machine for USG guided nerve blocks and pain relief procedures.
- Dept. provides pre-operative and post –operative care to the patients.
- Dept. provides frequent CPR training for faculty, Interns, PG residents and nursing staff.
- Dept. conducts various ananesthesia awareness programmes through awareness posters, exhibition for OPD patients and their relatives. Most of the time on 16th October that is World Anaesthesia day.
- Central sterilization supply Dept. (CSSD) caters supply of all sterilized items to all medical & surgical wards, emergency area, ICU & OT.
- For post-Operative & Pre-Operative patients well equipped ICU and IRCU services are provided by our intensivist.

- Academics : Pain fellowship, PhD course in Anaesthesia.
- Community Service: Anaesthesia awareness Programme and CPR training for the community.
- Collaborations: Research projects with other institutes & medical colleges
