Department of General Surgery at MIMER Medical College Talegaon Dabhade is providing services to rural area of taluka maval in outskirts of Pune.
Services include General Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgeries, Trauma Surgery all superspeciality surgeries and Emergency services, arranging various health camps in outskirts and economically poor people. Arranging teaching programs workshops and CME for undergraduate, postgraduate and Surgeons. Research support to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Super speciality includes Neurosurgery and Spine surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Vascular surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Urosurgery, Oncosurgery, Endoscopic surgery, Gastrointestinal surgery.
The department has 150 beds with intake capacity of 6 postgraduate students each year.
