Dr (Mrs) Madhu Pankaj Bansode is a Professor and HOD of Medicine department.
She has completed her MBBS in 1995,MD General Medicine in 2001 and also pursued a PGDGM diploma in Geriatric Medicine (IGNOU) in2017,
CCGDM (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus) in2021. She has 22years of work experience as a physician, having served patients of medical diseases at various reputed medical colleges and hospitals since her residency in Medicine at Dr V.M. Medical College Solapur, and later at Ruby Hall Clinic Pune, BJ Medical college & Sassoon General Hospitals Pune, Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune, MIMER Medical College and Hospital, Talegaon Dabhade, Pune and Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Lavale, Pune. She has undergone research trainings in Medical Education Technology (MET) courses, CISP (Curriculum implementation Support Programme), Microsoft Innovative Educator Certificate courses and Basic Course in BiomedicalResearch. She has a work experience of NAAC, NASH and MCIsince last 15years. She has actively participated in flood relief services to gastroenteritis patients at Mumbai in 2005, Swine Flu epidemic services in 2009 and 2010 at Bharati Hospital, Pune and COVID pandemic services at Symbiosis hospital, Pune. She has 20 publications to her credit in national and international journals and a book on Opportunistic infections in HIV (Lambert publishing). Her extracurricular activities and interests include yoga and fitness, swimming, cooking, travelling, social networking and community work.
