Dr. Amit Yele is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at MIMER Medical College, Talegaon Dabhade. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Dhule followed by an MD in Medicine from Government Medical College, Nagpur. He further acquired a DNB (Medicine) qualification from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi. Dr. Yele also completed a Fellowship program in Diabetes and Endocrinology at prestigious Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. Further he acquired certification by EULAR Rheumatology, Europe in 2022.
He has also acquired PGDGM( Geriatric Medicine) and PGDHHM (Hospital Management) from IGNOU Delhi, in 2019 & 2023 respectively.
With extensive experience in various institutions, Dr. Yele has worked as an Assistant Professor at Sasson Hospital, Pune, Senior Resident at MIMER Hospital, and Assistant Professor at Nair Hospital & TNMC Medical College, Mumbai. Currently, he oversees the Endocrinology OPD in the Department of Medicine every Monday. He is actively involved in clinical teaching for postgraduate MD students and undergraduate MBBS
students. Dr. Yele has presented papers at national conferences and published articles in international medical journals. He is passionate about medical student teaching and organizing seminars, programs, and quizzes for students.
