Dr Shobha Vatkar won 2nd Prize in oral paper presentation in 7 th Annual Research
Society Conference at MIMER Medical College, Talegaon on 7 th December 2018.
Dr. Shilpa Gurav participated as a chairperson in MEDINSPIRE An Multidisciplinary Medical Summit , Mumbai from 14 th to 17 th February 2019.
Dr. Leena Paulose awarded with ISA- Certificate of Appreciation to PPE CLAD COVID WARRIORS in July 2020.
Dr. Shilpa Gurav visited B. J Medical College as a LIC Inspector for starting PhD in Anaesthesia on 22 nd March 2020.
Dr. Leena Paulose attended RSACP Academic Webinar Series2021- Neuroanaesthesia Critical Care as a Chairperson of a Scientific Session on 13 th January 2021.
Dr Shilpa Gurav was Judge for poster competition- ISA national West zone conference, Masterstroke held by Society of Anaesthesiologists Pimpri Chinchwad (SAPC) on 10 th & 11 th September 2022.
PG student Dr. Sneha Wattamwar won 3 rd prize in Masterstrokes held by Society of Anaesthesiologists Pimpri-Chinchwad (SAPC) in September 2022.
Dr Shilpa Gurav visited B. J Medical College, Pune, as LIC inspector for first time affiliation inspection for increase in PG seats on 13 th October 2022.

Dr. Leena Paulose won the 2 nd prize in Poster presentation in 13 th Annual Conference of Academy of Regional Anaesthesia of India (AORA 2023) held from 1 st to 4 th June 2023 in Pune. Topic: “Taylor’s approach of spinal anaesthesia: Good old reliable rescue block”.
Dr Shilpa Gurav chaired a session on "Anaesthesia for liposuction & Abdominoplasty in MASTERSTROKE, CME conducted by SAPC (Society of Anaesthesiologists Pimpri-Chinchwad) along with Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital on 18 th June 2023.
Dr Shobha Vatkar chaired a session on "Unanticipated Difficult Airway in low Resource setup" in Masterstrokes CME conducted by SAPC (Society of Anaesthesiologists Pimpri-Chinchwad) along with Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, on 18 th June 2023.
Dr Shobha Vatkar was President of Society of Anaesthesiologists Pimpri Chinchwad (SAPC) from 2023-2024.
Dr Pranali Nighukar and Dr Vaishali Sapatnekar won 1 st prize in Strike -A-Thon Carrom tournament for Teachers on 29 th August 2023 National Sports day at MIMER Medical College, Talegaon.
Dr Shilpa Gurav and Dr Leena Paulose were the panelist for CME on dentistry – “An overview Medical Emergencies in Dental Practice with Panel discussion Hands on workshop on “Basic Life support” on 20 th March 2024 at MIMER Medical College, Talegaon.
Dr Shobha Vatkar was awarded with Narishakti Puraskar in March 2024.
PG student Dr. Aishwarya Godase won 2 nd prize in Duet Dance Rhythm Rumble at MIMER Medical college, Talegaon in April 2024.
Both Candidates of Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia successfully cleared the MUHS exam in October 2024.
Dr Shilpa Gurav was the panelist at ISA National Conference , Patna ISACON 24.
Department won 2 nd prize in Reel making competition at ISA National Conference , Patna ISACON 24 in November 2024.
PG student Dr. Aishwarya Godase won in Quiz competition at ISA National Conference , Patna ISACON 24.
Dept. has been sanctioned with two M. D Anesthesia seats from this academic year (2021).
Dept. actively involved in COVID care ICU management and intensivist from our dept. has got the award of “COVID 19 Warrior”, given by World Health Parliament on 24th January 2021.
Dept.’s CPR training is very much appreciated by medical and non- medical staff.
Dept. successfully managed various live surgical national & international workshops with other surgical branches of Institute.
In research Society conference our faculty got prizes for poster & Paper presentation.
Our faculty updated themselves by doing various online teaching courses successfully.
