Assessment of Bowel Ultrasound among inflammatory Bowel Disease Patients. Bowel ultrasound
is a cost effective non-invasive alternative to Colonoscopy. Prospective study of patient with
known case of IBD. Ultrasound and colonoscopy findings were compared.

Dr. Nivedita Khaire and colleagues have published their research article titled
“Pneumomediastinum: A marker of severity in COVID -19 disease “in Heliyon (2023).
The study highlights pneumomediastinum as an important imaging marker associated with severe
COVID -19 infection and poorer patient outcomes. By emphasizing its prognostic value, the
research provides valuable guidance for clinicians in early identification of high-risk cases and
better management strategies.
This publication reflects the ongoing contribution of our faculty toward advancing medical
knowledge and improving patient care in the field of radiology.
