Infrastructure Psychiatry

OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT –

1. OPD :- Well equipped OPD with separate space for counseling and biofeedback room is available in department. Through this department caters to various strata of patient in and around Talegaon Dabhade.
2. IPD :-Department has well established IN-Patient services has capacity of 30 beds (male 18 and female 12).Has separate wards for male and female patients. Deaddiction services and Management of Psychiatric Illnesses and Emergencies are catered through IPD services. Indoor management also provided with –
   Pharmacological management, Psychological testing, Psychotherapeutic interventions, Biological treatments like Electro convulsive therapy (ECT), Biofeedback techniques, Narcoanalysis, Detailed psychological analysis and psychological therapy are provided to patients.

Departmental Library

A well organized departmental library having a generous collection of 214 books which includes standard and reference books. Department has separate demo room and teaching facilities.
