INNOVATIONS AND CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES:-

  • HPLC for Haemoglobinopathy : Department of pathology started screening of Haemoglobinopathie s by latest technique of HPLC ( D10) in the year 2025.
  • Frozen Section: Department of pathology started Frozen section processing for intra-op diagnostic histopathology in the year 2017. This test provides quick intra-op diagnosis regarding nature of lesions whether benign or malignant, surgical margins etc. for deciding extent of surgery.
  • Immunohistochemistry: Department of Pathology started another innovative technology – Immuno-histochemical markers for various neoplasms in the year 2021.
  • Liquid based cytology (LBC): This advanced cytological technique was started in the year 2017. This technology is at par international processing systems in cervical and fluid cytology.
