Profile
He was a leading and eminent ENT surgeon of Pune, practising for 40 years. The academic qualification and practical expertise is crowned with his administrative excellence. He was trained for Ear Surgery in Tubingon , Germany . He had headed many organizations and chaired a number of committees and conferences, like Chairmanship, ENT Association, Pune, Chairmanship Maharashtra State ENT Association, Head of ENT Department of Pune Municipal Corporation, amongst many others.
Dr Ghaisas was founder trustee and Vice–Chairman of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER)’s MIT, Pune It is because of his enthusiasm, dedicated work and motivation that the MIMER Medical College has become reputed, well established and professionally recognized in the field of Medicine.
An administrator par excellence, Dr.Suresh Ghaisas was in the field of Medical education since 1995. He had been instrumental in developing the college and making the vision come true. He had steered the institute as a Medical Director, since its foundation stone was laid in 1995.
He firmly believed in the vast potential of the youth and wished to prepare medical students possessing good ethical and moral values to become well trained doctors to serve humanity.
