She has graduated from Pt J N M Medical college Raipur and has done her MS Ophthalmology from AFMC Pune after completing short service commission in Army. She has done short fellowship courses from H V Desai eye hospital Pune in small incision cataract surgery and phacoemulsification. She takes keen interst in teaching and research work. She has teaching experience of 12 years .
