HOD & Professor of Ananesthesiology Department

Dr. Shilpa Y. Gurav is working as a HOD in the Dept. of Ananesthesiology. She is working in MIMER Medical College since 17th Aug 2007. She has completed her graduation from MIMSR Medical College, Latur, in the year 1996 and MD Ananesthesia from SRTR Medical College, Ambejogai in the year 2002. She has a total 20 years of teaching experience. She has several national and international publications on her name and presented many papers in the conferences. Department has conducted several CPR workshops for in-house people as well as for people of other institute like ICMR-NIV, under her valuable guidance. She has managed the several national and international live surgical workshops of surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopedics and OBGY very well. She has maintained good co-ordination in the Department.
She is actively involved in the activities conducted by regional branch of Indian society of anesthesiologists. She has promoted different research activities in the Department. She is one of the senior Anaesthesiologist in the region having good knowledge and excellent teaching skills.
